Yeah just fan art of Ariel for MerMay. It’s the only post I’m doing for MerMay because I’m not the type to do art trends like that. Art was produced my ibis paint x app on my iPhone and pen and paper to create the base itself. I usually always make a rough sketch on paper before digitally coloring it. As you can see, there were a few changes in the finished piece.

Yachiyo Nanami Chibi
This magical girl is slowly growing on me. Now I’m drawing Felicia. Also the show is so darn fun. I’ll be painting a watercolor version of her too.

Jigoku Usagi(crossover art)
Another fan art crossover of Hell Girl(Jigoku Shoujo) and something else. In this installment, it is Usagi Tsukino, better known as Sailor Moon. I am liking this more than Jigoku Miku. Perhaps it’s the moon background. Anywho, which crossover from Hell will I create next? Mwuhahahahaa– *chokes on leek*

This week in paint and yarn
Some things has been cooking in the house of MikuMarmalade. You know, when she isn’t answering calls at work. Call center life, y’all. I have been writing on this site for a little over a year now, after having to remake it due a cyberstalker. It’s an ex-friend type, not romantic. So I won’t be on the news because of some deranged ex-lover…probably.

Playing with shadows
Just wanted to play with exaggerating shadows Do the shadows make directional sense? No. Should I work on learning lighting source? Most certainly. Will I ever do so? Maybe. Maybe not. I do it for fun not money. If I were trying to sell it though, I would need to learn lighting(and other things) Done with primarily watercolor with some acrylic painting(mainly the black and white is acrylic paint)

Sailor Jupiter Amigurumi joins the gang
A photo collage of periodic points of making her. Some shots were taken at night because weekends are the only time I can take photos in the day time. Her mouth went through a few iterations. And the whole gang so far. Next I’ll be adding Sailor Venus. Next weekend I’ll be uploading the video of the dolls, who came first and showcasing my journey as an artist.
