Photoshoot of amigurumi doll, Ran~
Hey, Homura. There sure isn’t anything unusual about these photos at a fast food place. Nope. Nothing at all. Every day at a restaurant there will be an adorable amigurumi doll dining in and play Mario Kart on a 3DS for a few minutes. …oh that’s not the case? Oops. ?<<<< gt;<<< ><< p>< /p>

Signs that a prospect isn’t going to buy/order from your Etsy Shop
Hello dear Internet Stranger who may or may not have an artsy side hustle, business, Etsy shop, Redbubble page, etc. You’ve been there, you receive a message from a fan on Etsy or a DM on Instagram. “I love your work and would love to buy it. I have a couple of questions” Your customer service rep takes over and responds to the inquiries. They want to know if you offer fast shipping or if you can tweak something. You reply with however you do things. Then radio silence. Weeks turn into months. At this point, you know what’s up. The dreaded flaky prospect. I’ve had a ton of these…

Black Becky with the good 4C hair— crochet doll edition
Clearly my attempt at making a eye catching title could use work. Anywho… This was a commission by a colleague for her daughter. The hair was my favorite part so far. I used crochet hair that is meant for crochet hairstyles. It’s a pretty useful technique and super easy, especially a 4C texture. It can be worked right into the stitches. The glasses are just reading glasses from any old store. I bought them at my local Michael’s Craft supply shop. Of course, as usual she’s completed free handed. You can see the beginning stages of how all my dolls come to be. I typically start with white yarn so…

Introducing Luna and Artemis. Because of reasons. I gave them to my cousin for Christmas of 2016. Freehand amigurumi cats.

Yuri on Ice Amigurumi Art Dolls
A request from my cousin. I watched a few episodes of this anime and dropped it. It wasn’t my cup of tea. I’m not too big into sports anime. I watched it purely to learn a bit about the characters she requested. [huge_it_slider id=”1″] While these dolls are reserved, if you or someone you know is interested in owning a custom anime character crocheted doll, I can make them. They cost $50 + S&H.

A new(ish) Etsy Shop trying out Promoted Listings. What I learned.
So you’re curious about that Promoted Listings thing, aye? What does it do? Is it worth it? Is it really expensive? Do I need to be at “XYZ” level to begin? I can’t answer any of those as I’m a newb. What I can say is that having good listings(good photos, utilizing/understanding Etsy SEO, etc) is helpful and I’d argue necessary before using Promoted Listings. I’ll put it like this, using Promoted Listings without the good listings is like paying for ad space in the mall for your bakery when you add too much sugar to your cookies. Sure, it’ll work somewhat, but it’d work better if you didn’t try…

Shop Promo: Crochet Doll Xpressions|Photo Gallery chibi Aoko
Her name is Aoko. She’s not from any specific show or anything. She was inspired by eating hot cheetos. Not really. Just something spicy. She’s available for sale here on my website as well as on Etsy. Though be advised that on Etsy she has a shipping cost of $13 added into the listing price. If you buy directly here you can get calculated shipping or even actual free shipping(where I the maker pays the shipping, not you the buyer) if you join my mailing list and add the coupon code at checkout.
